New Staff
Centres with new Exams Officers (or Heads of Centre) can find guidance on amending these and other details within our Centre Information page.

2025/2026 Entries

Our Entry Fees and Entry Procedures and Coding documents are available this month on our Entries page. These documents will provide details relevant to all qualifications offered from September 2025 to August 2026.

Entries for the November 2025 series can be made until 4th October 2025. Further information, such as the documentation mentioned above, can be found on our Entries page.

Basedata files for the November 2025 (1st September 2025) and January 2026 (6th September 2025) series are published this month and can be downloaded from our Basedata page.

Centres will be notified when preliminary entries for the June 2026 series can be made on Portal, by clicking on ‘All Services’, followed by ‘Entries & Registrations’, and then ‘Make Preliminary Entries’. The deadline for submission of these is 10th October 2025.
June 2025 Series Deadlines

The final deadline for Post-Results Services for the June 2025 examination series, including clerical checks and reviews of marking, is 25th September 2025. Full details of our Post-Results Services can be found within our Results. Grade Boundaries and PRS page.

25th September 2025 is also the deadline for ‘retrospective’ applications for Special Consideration for the June 2025 series.

The final deadline for the submission of late Cash-In codes for unitised qualifications is 20th September 2025.
Applications for the services above can be made by accessing the relevant areas of Portal.
November 2025 Series Deadlines
September contains the following deadlines for the November 2025 series:

20th September 2025 is the deadline for applications for modified papers for the January 2026 series.

4th October 2025 is the deadline to apply for transferred candidate arrangements for this series.
These requests can be made through the JCQ Centre Admin Portal (CAP), which can be accessed via Portal.
Access to Scripts January 2025 Series
Please note that the final date on which electronic copies of scripts can be accessed via Portal from the January 2025 series is 6th September 2025.
Welsh Baccalaureate 2025/2026
The Welsh Baccalaureate Administration Handbook 2025-26 as well as Principal Moderators’ Reports for Summer 2025 will be published this month on our Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced Skills Challenge Certificate and Welsh Baccalaureate National/Foundation Skills Challenge Certificate subject pages.
