Temporary Support Roles – Summer 2022
In addition to the current vacancies advertised, we are recruiting 60+ people to join us as temporary operations assistants and supervisors. The roles are available from April to September 2022 (various start/end dates).
These are great entry level roles for anyone interested in joining the education sector or looking for administrative experience to enhance their CV. In fact, a number of our permanent colleagues came to us via this scheme in previous years.
Successful applicants will play an important part supporting our 2022 Summer Exam series. On a day-to-day basis, they will be responsible for ensuring all exam scripts are accurately recorded, checking exam marks against online records and completing a number of data-entry tasks. Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided, however administrative or data entry experience is beneficial. Find out more by reading the job description below:

Annual leave
Our employees receive 25 days of annual leave, 8 bank holidays and closure between Christmas and New Year

Pension
In accordance with Automatic Enrolment regulations, employees are assessed upon commencing employment and where the qualifying criteria is met, are enrolled into one of 2 qualifying pension schemes.
The default pension scheme for our employees is the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and most employees will be either contractually or automatically enrolled into this scheme.
There are, however, a number of WJEC posts which are contractually enrolled into the Teachers’ Pensions scheme due to the responsibilities held within the role.
Both schemes are tax approved, defined benefit occupational pension schemes, with benefits being accrued under Career Average Re-valued Earnings (CARE) rules.
