Summer 2026 will be the final full assessment opportunity for this qualification. A resit opportunity for examinations will be available in January 2027, subject to demand.
From September 2025, learners must not be entered onto this qualification in Year 10, they should be entered for GCSE French - Teaching from 2025
Effective from the Summer 2025 exam series, we will no longer be sending CDs to centres for assessments with audio content. This material will be available as an MP3 resource only, via Portal.
