As we begin the new academic year, we are delighted to announce that our Professional Learning Events Programme for 2026/27 is now live and open for registration.

With the continued rollout of our Made-for-Wales qualifications, our professional learning programme has been designed to support schools and colleges at every stage of implementation. Whether you are preparing to deliver a qualification for the first time or looking to build on your existing knowledge, our comprehensive programme provides practical guidance, subject expertise and opportunities to share best practice. 

Our programme supports the delivery of qualifications across Wave 1, Wave 2 and Wave 3, helping teachers feel confident and well prepared throughout the academic year.

This year's programme offers a combination of live online events, face-to-face sessions and on-demand resources, allowing you to choose the learning format that best suits your needs.

Our programme includes: 

  • Principal Examiner and Principal Moderator feedback sessions, offering valuable insights from recent assessments, supported by candidate exemplars. 
  • Thematic face-to-face events, providing opportunities to explore key topics in greater depth, network with colleagues and engage directly with WJEC subject specialists. 
  • Pre-recorded professional learning, enabling you to access expert guidance at a time that's convenient for you.
