Coronavirus Update: Essential Skills Wales Summer 2020

We welcome Qualifications Wales statement on the approach awarding organisations will need to take in awarding the Essential Skills Wales qualifications to learners due to complete their qualifications before the end of July. 

We will provide a calculated result for our learners to ensure that they are not disadvantaged  as a result of the announcement that exams in schools and colleges in Wales would be cancelled in order to help fight the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).  

We will also work with our centres on the changes to assessment requirements for learners completing their qualifications from August to November.  

We will provide further details on our Essential Skills Wales web pages and will be contact with our centres to provide detailed information on the next steps in the coming weeks.
