We have developed a reformed GCSE Physical Education specification, approved by Qualifications Wales, for teaching from 2016. This qualification meets regulatory requirements in Wales.

The interactive resource for the new WJEC GCSE 2016 Specification is currently available via the digital resources page.
In addition to this, Welsh Government have designed a resource to support practitioners with the delivery of the new biomechanical principles and movement analysis content in the new WJEC physical education specifications, from GCSE through to GCE AS/A level. Additional Activities Added to Specification
We are pleased to announce that the following activities have been approved by Qualifications Wales, and are to be added to the list of approved activities in our specification for GCSE Physical Education (Wales):
