Summer 2026 will be the final full assessment opportunity for GCSE Mathematics. A resit opportunity for examinations will be available in November 2026 and June 2027, subject to demand.

From September 2025, learners must not be entered onto these qualifications in Year 10, they should be entered for GCSE Mathematics and Numeracy (Double Award) - Teaching from 2025
