Level 1/2 Constructing the Built Environment
The Level 1/2 Vocational Award in Constructing the Built Environment (9810) will be withdrawn in Summer 2028. The qualification will have its last full series in Summer 2028 with a resit opportunity for the external unit in January 2029 (subject to demand). The last cohort for centres running the qualification over two years will be September 2026.

This innovative Level 1/2 qualification was developed in partnership with CITB and is primarily designed for learners aged 14-16 who want to learn about the construction industry from the build perspective.
It provides learners with a broad introduction to the different trades involved in the sector and the range of career opportunities available.
