Contribute to the reform of our level 3 qualifications

We are currently reforming our applied qualifications in Criminology, Food Science and Nutrition, and Medical Science.

 

Aimed at post-16 learners in full-time education, our applied qualifications are designed to develop fundamental knowledge and practical skills through applied learning i.e. through purposeful contexts linked to a sector or subject area.

 

These new qualifications are being developed to meet the requirements for alternative academic qualifications and will be available for first teaching from September 2025 or 2026, depending on the subject. Read more about each subject and find out how you can get involved below.
