WJEC wins prestigious national employer award

WJEC is proud to announce that it has been named a winner at the Investors in People Awards 2025, securing the highly competitive ‘UK Employer of the Year: Silver’ title. 

Now in its 12th year, the Investors in People Awards celebrate organisations across the UK that are redefining what it means to be a truly great employer. This recognition places WJEC among an elite group of organisations committed to exceptional people management and workplace culture. 

Chief Executive Ian Morgan expressed his pride in the achievement: “We are thrilled to have won this award, which reflects our ongoing commitment to making WJEC a place where people are supported, valued and empowered to grow. Our progression from the initial ‘We invest in people’ accreditation in 2021 to achieving Silver status in 2024 shows how far we've come, and how seriously we take our responsibility to invest in our people.” 

He added: “This framework has helped us shape our internal culture with the right systems, policies and, most importantly, people, to ensure WJEC continues to be a rewarding and inspiring place to work.”

The awards ceremony, held in November 2025, brought together organisations from across a wide range of sectors to celebrate best practice and outstanding achievements in workplace development. Winners were chosen by an expert panel of judges representing industries from across the UK.
