WJEC awarded additional Welsh Government funding to enhance digital resources package
WJEC is delighted to announce that we have secured additional funding from Welsh Government as part of their Emergency Resilience Guidance for Education, Childcare and Children’s Settings initiative.
Commenting on this funding is Melanie Blount, Head of Content Development: “We are confident that these new resources will complement, our already strong package of free digital resources. Each new resource will ensure teachers can successfully embed blending learning to become an integral part of the learner’s learning journey.
'We are proud of our strong working relationship with Welsh Government, and are grateful for their ongoing support to enable us to deliver leading digital resources to support learners across Wales.”
The new funding will enable our dedicated Digital Resources Team to further develop the published blended learning by adding a print package feature as well as producing additional guidance to support our existing comprehensive package of digital resources. New materials include:
- Additional guidance on how teachers and learners can make effective use of our existing Blended Learning and Knowledge Organisers.
- Medium Term and Lesson plans to support teachers in their planning and teaching, providing advice to relevant resources that can aid learners.
- Student planners that are designed to enable learners to track their own learning journey, which will aid effective revision practices.
These new materials will be published throughout the autumn term and be accessed, alongside our comprehensive suite of over 9,500 free digital resources, from our Digital Resources website.
