GCSE and A Level revision in Welsh: Essential resources for Welsh Medium learners

General revision / All subjects
Our Resources platform is incredibly useful for Welsh‑medium learners, offering support across a wide range of GCSE and A Level subjects. With resources organised by individual units and topics, and clearly broken down by level, these materials are ideal for independent study and revising key concepts at your own pace.
If you prefer physical revision, as opposed to online, then our revision books would benefit you. Like our online platform, we have an array of subject specific revision books that include breakdowns of modules, tips for how to revise, easy revision tracking and more!
Hwb Resources and Carlam Cymru both offer a wide range of Welsh-medium learning materials. From revision guides, videos, and interactive tools that will help strengthen your subject and unit knowledge. Carlam Cymru also offers an app and a YouTube channel, making its content easily accessible and suitable for a wide range of learners.
Maths revision
For Maths revision, Mathemateg.com is a great site full of material starting from Year 7 through to A Level, allowing you to recap on all the fundamentals as well as your exam focused material. The website also has a range of resources from math focused games to blogs on focused concepts.
From the same creators, if you prefer revising through watching videos, then check out their YouTube channel, Adolygu Mathemateg. Topics and units are broken down into smaller chunks while also giving you examples to work through as you watch.
For those who prefer shorter videos, why not explore their TikTok - Maths Mewn Munud! Perfect for on-the-go last-minute revision, or even daily practice.
Science revision (GCSE)
Tanio is a science‑focused revision platform that offers clear topic explanations alongside ready‑made flashcards to support effective revision. Resources are available for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and are specifically designed for GCSE Double Award learners.
Each topic includes interactive revision activities, making it easier to learn in a way that suits you, whether you prefer listening, watching, or hands‑on revision.
