Coronavirus update: Information to Centres guidance

Today, Qualifications Wales has updated the Information to Centres on the submission of Centre Assessment Grades. The updates reference centres’ normal policies and procedures which will comply with Public Sector Equality Duty and advice on retaining written records of the processes they have used when producing centre assessment grades and rank order information.

We have provided guidance to teachers, via the subject specific guidance provided on our Secure Website on the evidence they should consider when making judgements on assessment grades, including liaising with specialist teachers who provide support to learners requiring access arrangements. The Head of Centre will submit a declaration to us confirming that the centre assessment grades and rank order information are accurate. Further details are available on the guidance provided by us.
