Congratulations to students receiving their summer 2026 results today

Today, students across Wales will receive their A level, AS, Level 3 and Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales results. 

Wales A level results 

  • 97.7% of students in Wales achieved A* - E  

  • 10.7% of students achieved an A*  

Wales AS results 

  • 90.7% of students achieved A - E  

  • 22.5% of students in Wales achieved grade A  

Level 3 Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales  

  • 97.4% of students achieved A* - E 

  • 8.0% of students achieved an A* 

Commenting Ian Morgan, Chief Executive, WJEC, said: “Congratulations to all students receiving their results today. These achievements reflect the hard work, determination, and resilience they have shown throughout their studies. 

On behalf of WJEC, I would also like to thank the teachers, lecturers, and support staff across schools and colleges for their continued dedication, professionalism, and commitment to supporting learners every step of the way. 

Today’s results represent an important milestone and the beginning of an exciting new chapter. Whether students are progressing to higher education, further training, apprenticeships, or employment, we wish them every success as they take their next steps and look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead.”
