Level 3 Tourism Examiners' Report Summer 2019Download
Principal Examiners' Report
The Summer 2019 Principal Examiners' reports provide feedback on this Summer's examination series. The reports include helpful observations and commentary on the work produced for this series and can assist teachers in preparing their students for the next examination series.
The Level 3 Applied Diploma in Tourism has been approved for the DfE 2020 performance tables and is therefore available to all centres.
We are developing a new WJEC Level 3 Applied Certificate in Tourism and a WJEC Level 3 Applied Diploma in Tourism qualification for first teaching from September 2017. We have worked with the teaching community, education professionals and subject specialists to develop these new Level 3 qualifications.
From May 2018 UCAS will list the WJEC Level 3 Applied Certificate (180 GLH and grades A-E) and the WJEC Level 3 Applied Diploma (360 GLH and grades A*-E) as generic family qualification titles rather than individual subject titles. The following qualifications will be covered by this arrangement and have the same Tariff points as the qualifications already on the Tariff, i.e. WJEC Level 3 Applied Diploma and Applied Certificate in Criminology and the Applied Diploma and Applied Certificate in Medical Science.
