Humanities
This qualification includes units for developing skills and knowledge in a range of subject areas, including:
- History
- Geography
- Religious studies
- Humanities
- French
Centres may choose to build the qualification around one subject area, e.g. history. Alternatively it is possible to build a qualification from a range of subject areas, e.g. Geography, Humanities and Religious Studies to give learners a more general experience.
The qualification is available at Entry 2 and Entry 3.

Key Dates
Entries 2018/2019
- January - must be submitted by 21 October 2018, centres can then amend up to 11 November 2018.
- June - must be submitted by 21 February 2019, centres can then amend up to 18 March 2019.
- No late entries after this date are possible.
Work for Moderation
Samples of work for moderation must be with the WJEC by 12 December 2018 for January entries and 3 May 2019 for May entries.
