Wider Key Skills

WJEC offers the Wider Key Skills of Working with Others, Improving Own Learning and Performance and Problem Solving at four levels.

Wider Key Skills will remain unchanged until 2015/2016 at which time revised standards may be introduced.

Centres are reminded to complete and return their 2015/2016 Centre Registration form to WJEC's Key/Essential Skills Wales Unit.

Essential Skills Wales

WJEC is approved to accredit ESW Entry 1-3 and ESW Levels 1-4.

Support from WJEC

WJEC provides support and accreditation to centres throughout Wales. All WJEC's Wider Key Skills moderators are practising teachers and Key Skills co-ordinators, who can advise from the perspective of their own experience in delivering and assessing Wider Key Skills.
