For centres in Wales: Approved WJEC GCSE German (for teaching from 2016)
WJEC has developed a reformed GCSE German qualification, regulated by Qualifications Wales, for teaching from 2016. This qualification meets regulatory requirements in Wales and has been approved by Qualifications Wales: it is not available to centres in England.The sample assessment materials will be published shortly.

Through our Eduqas brand, WJEC is developing a reformed GCSE German qualification, regulated by Ofqual, for first teaching from 2016. This qualification is designed to meet regulatory requirements in England. Specifications and resources can be found on the Eduqas GCSE German webpage.

April 2015: GCSE (9-1) German Draft Specification
Through our Eduqas brand, we're offering GCSE (9-1) French for first teaching from September 2016. The draft specification and draft sample assessment materials have now been submitted to Ofqual and are available to view on the Eduqas website. The reformed qualifications have been developed for centres in England, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and the independent sector in Wales.
