Event Operations Level 1/2 Award
The WJEC Level 1 / 2 Award in Event Operations (VQ) (QAN - 601/4545/6) has been designed to support learners in schools and colleges who want to learn about this vocational sector and the potential it can offer them for their careers or further study. It is most suitable as a foundation for further study. This further study would provide learners with the opportunity to develop a range of specialist and general skills that would support their progression to employment. Employment in events can range from administration, crowd control, event sales, event branding, exhibition organisation and communications. All of these roles require further education and training either through apprenticeships or further and higher education.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. It is most likely to be studied by 14-16 year olds in schools alongside GCSEs.

We are delighted to announce that our Level 1/Level 2 Event Operations Specification A qualification now attracts Performance points in England and in Wales. Specification A will be awarded for the first time in 2019.
