Criminology Level 3 (from 2015)
We are pleased to announce that our Level 3 Criminology qualification has been approved by Ofqual and Welsh Government. This qualification is available for teaching in England and Wales from September 2015 (first accreditation summer 2017).
The qualification carries UCAS points and appears on the UCAS Tariff Calculator. It has also been confirmed by DfE that the Level 3 Criminology qualification will be included on the 2018 performance tables.
We continue to work with teachers and subject specialists to develop valuable resources which will help you to create engaging lessons for your students.
- WJEC Level 3 Certificate in Criminology (QAN 601/6249/1)
- WJEC Level 3 Diploma in Criminology (QAN 601/6248/X)
The level 3 Criminology CPD events are now available to book via the CPD page of the WJEC website. Three CPD events will take place, one in London, Cardiff and Manchester.
Please be aware that changes have been made to the Level 3 Criminology (2015) specification. On page 17 of the specification, in the final paragraph, it now states that candidates must pass all units in order to achieve a grade for the qualification.
