GCSE in Mathematics 2010
New GCSE Mathematics-Linear specification
The new GCSE Mathematics - Linear specification for teaching from September 2010 is now available.
Specifications and specimen assessment materials are now available for download:

- GCSE Mathematics - Unitised specification
- GCSE Mathematics - Unitised specimen assessment materials
The Unitised specification comprises 3 units, with units 1 and 2 avaialble from summer 2011. There are two tiers of entry, Foundation and Higher for each unit.
The Linear specification comprises 2 papers for first award from summer 2012. There are two tiers of entry, Foundation and Higher.

GCSE Mathematics Teachers' Guides (Unitised and Linear)
The draft versions of the GCSE Mathematics Teachers' Guides (Unitised and Linear) will be available to download at the begining of September. However, the interactive aspect of the guides will not be fully functional until the end of September. Draft and final versions can be obtained by clicking on this link.
New WJEC Level 2 Certificate in Additional Mathematics
This qualification, for first teaching from September 2010, will provide a course of study for the most able candidates for GCSE Mathematics to be stretched and challenged. It will also provide an appropriate course of study for candidates who acquire GCSE Mathematics early.

Linked Pair Pilot
In addition to the above GCSE specification, WJEC will be piloting a linked pair of GCSEs in Mathematics.
This qualification is an extension of the GCSE Mathematics provision, to a double award qualification.
