The WJEC GCE ICT specification has proved increasingly popular within both Wales and England. The new GCE has a four unit structure: two units at AS and two units at A2.
The specification along with specimen assessment materials can be downloaded from the Documents section to the right of this page. A Teachers Guide and a worked example of the IT2 task are also available for download.
Support material and additional resources can be found free of charge on NGfL-Cymru. Past papers and marking schemes are available free of charge to teaching staff on our Secure Website. Further resources including textbooks for the new specification published by Folens and Hodder are available through our online Shop.
There is a regular programme of Continuing Professional Development CPD every autumn delivered by senior examiners, in addition, two CPD courses at the beginning of July, dealing specifically with preparation for the new A2 units can be booked by clicking on the link at the top left.
