WJEC provides, and will continue to provide, Science Today Entry Pathways qualifications which meet the needs of teachers and the requirements of regulators in both England and Wales.
Science Today Qualifications
Entry Pathways Science Today is available at Entry 2 & 3. There are a wide range of units that candidates can follow, allowing centres to produce a teaching programme to suit their learners needs. The qualification is available in three sizes: Diploma (37 credits), Certificate (13 or more credits) and Award (8 credits or more).

News
March 2013: Dates for internal assessment standardising CPD for the next academic year will be published shortly. Examination review will be provided online; further details will be issued in due course
Administration of Entry Pathways 2012/13
Entries
- January series - 1st October centres can then amend entries up to 30th November
- June series - 21st February centres can then amend entries up to 30th April
Samples
Centre samples will no longer be identified via the Internal Assessment Mark Input System (IAMIS). Centres will choose their own samples by following the sampling formula identified in the Entry Pathways Specification.
The date for submitting the sample of evidence of attainment to moderators:
- January series - 12th December
- June series - 4th May
