Level 1 and Level 2 Certificates in Latin Language, Latin Language & Roman Civiisation and Latin Literature
20/01/2010 – An e-mail update regarding the Latin Certificates was sent out on 19th January. Technical problems have resulted in some people receiving multiple copies of the e-mail and in some cases the attached update was missing. WJEC is pleased to announce that the Level 1 and 2 Certificates in Latin Language, Latin Language & Roman Civilisation and Latin Literature are now fully accredited and listed under Section 96 for 14-19 funding and for reporting in Attainment Measures.
We are putting in place arrangements for the first assessments and awards in 2010/2011. Please click here for further details of provision for first assessments and support.
- Final versions of the specifications and specimen assessment materials can be downloaded on the right of this page; hard copy versions will be sent to all centres early next term.
- Free whole-day INSET will be held in March 2010, to look in detail at the assessment of each unit, with venues in Manchester, London, Bristol, Birmingham, Newcastle and Cardiff. For details, click here.
