Continuing Professional Development

2010 CPD meetings are planned for the following dates:

  • 4 November - Cardiff
  • 9 November - Mold
  • 15 November - Carmarthen
  • 23 November - Swindon

You will not be able to book onto these courses until late April/early May.

Uniform Marks (UMS)
Information on how raw marks are converted to uniform marks may be found in the following document - Uniform Marks.

Exciting new AS resource materials, including PowerPoints and guidance notes, are now available from the NGfL Website.

Please use the standard blank answer booklets for the GCE Biology BY3 (New Specification), they are available from your Examinations Officer.

The WJEC Biology specification is accredited for courses starting in September 2008 (first AS Award 2009, first A Level Award 2010). The specification is available for download under the "Documents" column on the right. Final versions of specimen assessment materials can be downloaded from the scroll-down list. 

Resources

  • A wide range of resources are available free of charge via NGfL-Cymru.
  • Past papers and marking schemes for the previous specification are still available free of charge to teaching staff on our Secure Website.
