WJEC offers Welsh Second Language at Entry Level, GCSE and GCE. The suite of qualifications has proved popular with teachers for a variety of reasons, including:

The Welsh Second Language specifications are available, for further details, visit the specific page for the qualification. Please note that the English language version of the new GCE Welsh Second Language specification is currently not available, however, a Welsh medium version can be found on the Welsh language pages.

Resources

  • Support material and additional resources can be found free of charge on NGfL-Cymru.
  • Past papers and marking schemes are available free of charge to teaching staff on our Secure Website.
  • Further resources are available through our online Shop.
