The latest WJEC Basedata files will be available to download from this page. The files are available as self-extracting executables or zip files.
- Examination centres with English medium entries only should download English medium basedata.
- Examination centres with Welsh medium entries only should download Welsh medium basedata.
- Examination centres with English and Welsh medium entries should download Bilingual basedata.
- Users of SIMS Examinations Organiser 6 in Wales should always use the Bilingual basedata, because once committed to one language, it is not possible to import and operate the other, or the Bilingual, alongside it.

The file does not give sufficient information to calculate the exact units required, since the rules of dependency and combination governing the relationship between the number of units required and when they are sat are varied and complex.
