GCSE English Language - update
13 September 2012
We would like to thank students, teachers and administrators at schools and colleges in England and Wales for your enquiries, and for your patience in accepting that we are still working out several aspects of detailed arrangements relating to GCSE English Language and GCSE English.
In Wales, we are discussing the proposed re-grading arrangements with the Welsh Government and keeping Ofqual fully informed, and are hoping to let you know as soon as possible how these will be progressed.
In relation to resits in both England and Wales, detailed arrangements are nearly finalised and will be communicated shortly – external papers will be scheduled for 7 November and the results date can be confirmed as 19 December.
In both countries there are implications regarding Enquiries about Results, and these too will be clarified as soon as we can.
Further information will be posted here, and details will be circulated electronically to all our centres when they are available.
