WJEC to redevelop website
3 December 2010
WJEC is re-developing its public website and associated web-based customer interfaces.
We are looking for a company which can provide design and build support to our in-house team as it works to develop WJEC's online educational services.
The current website was developed in 2007 by Cardiff-based Imaginet, co-inciding with the launch of WJEC's new brand identity. Innovative features introduced included the quick search function for teachers and students wanting information about our range of qualifications and resources.
We are aiming to integrate the redeveloped website with other web-based services such as the secure website for teachers, our staff-only intranet and the facility to book and buy all WJEC's products, including CPD courses, revision materials and replacement certificates.
"Our in-house team has clear ideas about the innovations we want to introduce for our customers" said Ceri Thomas, WJEC's Marketing Manager. "We're looking to find a creative web development company which will bring its own ideas to the project, and provide practical solutions to help us implement our vision."
A list of criteria must be met by companies wishing to register their interest in tendering for the project.
Initial enquiries should be addressed to WJEC's Web Editor, Gwydion Gruffudd
