Course Aims:
* Review the performance of candidates in Units 1 and 2 during the 2012 examination series
* Information about changes to the specification with regard to SPaG (first assessment 2013) and linear routes (2014) and, also, measures taken to ‘strengthen’ the GCSE for first assessment in 2014
* Opportunities to discuss the development of new controlled assessment titles with specific advice on developing new Fieldwork Enquiries
This course aims to help teachers improve learning outcomes. It will be of special relevance to the “closing the gap” agenda of the Welsh Government
