Course Aims:
* To review the Summer 2012 examinations
* To offer teaching approaches for GCSE Film Studies, focusing on the new genre topic and newly introduced films outside Hollywood (first assessment Summer 2013)
* To explore aspects of controlled assessment
This course aims to help teachers improve learning outcomes. It will be of special relevance to the “closing the gap” agenda of the Welsh Government
