NB Parents and students are advised that all requests for post-results services must be submitted through the relevant examination centre.
Following the publication of results for each examination series, WJEC offers a range of post-results services relating to enquiries about results and access to examination scripts. Services include:
- Clerical re-check - a re-check of all clerical procedures leading to the issue of a result
- Post-results review of marking - a review of the original marking to ensure that the agreed mark scheme has been applied correctly
- Access to scripts – an electronic version of the script, either as a priority or non-priorityservice
- Post-results review of moderation
Details of the services offered, deadlines and WJEC contacts are listed in the JCQ Post-Results Services booklet.
WJEC follows the same procedures in January as the JCQ procedures for the June and November series.

Request a post-results service
If you wish to submit an enquiry about an examination result, or apply for access to scripts, you can do this online via WJEC's secure website.
Ofqual has informed awarding bodies that the automatic protection of subject grades for extended review must cease to apply. To do otherwise would be a breach of Ofqual's requirements. Centres should, therefore, note that in the event of an extended review candidates marks and subject grades may be lowered, confirmed or raised.
Information for Private Candidates
Whilst awarding bodies will accept an application for an enquiry about results directly from a private candidate, the candidate also has the option of seeking an application through their centre in the first instance.
