Errors in Question Papers

In the unlikely event that a centre identifies an error within a WJEC question paper, or within related assessment material information can be found at the following link.

Errors in question papers

The principal resource for exams officers for this period is the JCQ Booklet 'Instructions for Conducting Examinations' and all exam officers should ensure that they are fully familiar with the procedures and rules set out in this document. Short summaries of some of the issues most commonly encountered can be obtained through the links on the left.

Special Requirements

One of the issues most frequently encountered during the exam period will be candidates who may require "Special Consideration". This is a large and discrete area and has strong links with the provisions relating to Access Arrangements. Detailed information on both these areas can be found on our Special Requirements page of the website.

The JCQ Centre Inspection Service retains the right to visit centres during examinations to inspect arrangements and ensure that centres are adhering to all regulations.

Examination Comments

If any teachers at your centre wish to submit comments on any WJEC examination paper, they can do this by downloading a copy of the Examination Comments Form. The form should be completed and emailled to exams@wjec.co.uk the comments will be considered by the relevant subject area and the points raised will be taken into account when future papers are compiled.
