WJEC to attend Qualifications Wales Symposium

WJEC is pleased to be attending the Qualifications Wales Symposium, The Power of Assessment. This one-day event is designed for education practitioners, exploring the principles of effective assessment, current thinking and the possibilities for significant shifts in the landscape.

The keynote speech will be delivered by Professor Robert Coe. WJEC Chief Executive Gareth Pierce will contribute to the discussion around eAssessment, focusing on WJEC tests and school engagement in e-assessment. The event will also look at a range of other topics including the relationship between learning and assessment, comparative judgement, and validity and using Bloom's taxonomy.
