WJEC Eduqas regional representative team for England
In the context of the growing interest in WJEC’s Eduqas qualifications amongst new and existing centres, WJEC is very pleased to introduce its new regional representative team for England.
The level of interest in WJEC and Eduqas qualifications is such that we have decided to establish the regional representative team as an additional means of supporting, and communicating with, centres. They will be available to provide guidance by e-mail and over the phone but much of their time will be spent meeting teachers in person, either at group meetings or in individual schools and colleges.
From left to right:
(Hampshire, Isle of Wight, W Sussex, E Sussex, Kent, Surrey, London, Berkshire, Dorset + Channel Islands)
(Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, Durham, N Yorkshire, E Yorkshire, W Yorkshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, S Yorkshire, Merseyside, Cheshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire + Scotland, Isle of Man)
South West and Midlands
(Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Oxfordshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, West Midlands, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Rutland + Northern Ireland)
All the team have significant classroom and assessment experience so they have a good understanding both of the value of teachers' work and the challenges schools and colleges face.
This provision, which complements the work of our centre support team in Wales, is in addition to WJEC's well-established subject-specific support; the regional representatives will not focus on specific subjects, but are available to liaise with our subject teams as well as providing general advice and support both for new and existing qualifications on a regional basis.
If you have any questions about regional representative provision, please contact Hugh Lester or the relevant member of the team.
