WJEC Eduqas AS and A level Physics specifications are now accredited by Ofqual
The accredited specifications (for first teaching from September in England) are now available to download:
The AS specification covers topics such as: particles and nuclear structure, the nature of waves, refraction of light, and the investigation of stars.
The three components of the A level specification covers topics such as: nuclear energy, medical physics, energy and the environment, orbits and the wider universe, and thermal physics.
Practical work is an intrinsic part of both of these specifications. It is vitally important in developing a conceptual understanding of many topics and it enhances the experience and enjoyment of physics. The practical skills developed are also fundamentally important to learners going on to further study in physics and related subjects, and are transferable to many careers.
