GCSE English, English Language, and English Literature - for one year courses and new centres
Course Aims:
• to present an outline of the new GCSE specifications in English, English Language, and English Literature
• to help teachers prepare candidates for the examinations
• to give guidance on controlled assessment
• to allow delegates to discuss subject specific issues with senior examiners and WJEC officers
PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE SESSIONS WILL GIVE AN INTRODUCTION TO THE NEW SPECIFICATIONS IN GCSE ENGLISH, ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND ENGLISH LITERATURE FOR FIRST TEACHING FROM SEPTEMBER 2010 (FIRST AWARD 2012) THEY WILL LARGELY REPEAT THE CONTENT OF THE COURSES IN SPRING 2010, AND ARE DESIGNED WITH ONE YEAR COURSES AND NEW CENTRES IN MIND.
ATTENDANCE IS LIMITED TO A MAXIMUM OF TWO REPRESENTATIVES PER CENTRE.
